Privacy
What North Bound collects when you use this site, contact us, or work with us, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
The short version. We collect what you send us and use it to reply and to do the work. With your OK, cookies show us how people find the site and measure our ads. Say no and none are set. We don't sell your information, and we never share your phone number or text-message consent for anyone's marketing.
Who we are
This website, gonorthbound.ai, belongs to North Bound LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("North Bound," "we," "us"). This policy covers the website, the contact form, pages we send you as a link, and client sign-in.
What we collect
What you give us
- The contact form: your name and email address, your phone number and business name if you give them, what brings you here, what you tell us about the business, and how you heard about us.
- Email, calls and texts: whatever you choose to include.
- Client pages and sign-in: what you type into a page we send you, and the mobile number or email address you sign in with.
What's collected automatically
- Server records. Cloudflare, the site's host, handles each visit and keeps standard records such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from automated traffic.
- A spam check on the contact form. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person, not a bot, using signals such as your IP address and browser type. It runs only on the contact page, sets no cookies on this site, and is used only to stop bots, never to identify you or for ads.
- A visit count. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, the site that sent you, your country and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn't identify you, so it runs for everyone.
- How you found the site. If you say yes to analytics, the contact form also sends the page you first landed on and the site that sent you, including any campaign tags in the link. This is how we tell an ad from a referral.
- Analytics and advertising cookies, only if you say yes. The next section lists them.
Cookies and similar tools
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in those two groups loads until you say yes. You can change your answer at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

The advertising tags never load on the contact or sign-in pages, so nothing you type into a form there can reach an ad platform. If you turn a group off, we delete the cookies this site can reach. Cookies Google, Meta, LinkedIn or Microsoft set on their own sites are cleared in your browser or in their settings (links under "Your choices and rights").
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as a no to analytics and advertising: the banner doesn't appear and none of those tools load, unless you turn them on yourself in Cookie settings.
How we use it
- To reply to you and follow up on the conversation you started.
- To do the work we agree on, including the pages we send you.
- To send the sign-in codes you ask for.
- With your OK, to understand how people find and use the site, and to improve it.
- With your OK, to measure our ads and show them to people who have visited.
- To keep the site secure and keep spam out.
- To meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
Contact form answers are saved in a database on Cloudflare, and a copy is emailed to our inbox, which runs on Google's Gmail. Email you send us is kept in the same inbox. We use it only for the conversation you started and our work together. We don't add you to a mailing list. If we ever send a newsletter, it will go only to people who ask for it, with a way to unsubscribe in every issue.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call you about your inquiry or our work together. We text you only if you agree to it: by ticking the box for texts on the contact form, by texting us first, or by telling us. Agreeing is never a condition of any purchase. Once client sign-in opens, we text a one-time code each time you sign in with your mobile number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts doesn't stop us replying by email or phone. The full terms are under "Messaging terms" below.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that run parts of this site and our work for us, and only what each needs:
- Cloudflare: hosting, the database, routing our email, the contact form's spam check, and the cookie-free visit count.
- Google: our Gmail inbox, and with your OK, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Microsoft: with your OK, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising.
- Meta and LinkedIn: with your OK, their advertising tags.
- A text-message provider: once sign-in codes are sent by text.
Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn also use what their tags collect under their own privacy policies, including to target and measure ads. We may also share information with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganized, and with authorities when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
We don't sell your personal information. With your OK, the advertising tags share your visits to this site with Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited. Say no, and nothing is shared that way.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone. Any sharing described elsewhere on this page excludes text-message opt-in data and consent.
Links to other sites
This site links to sites we don't run. Their own privacy policies apply there, and we aren't responsible for what they do.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as the conversation or our work together needs it, and afterwards for as long as the law or our tax and business records require. Then we delete it. Analytics and advertising data is kept by Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn for the periods listed above and in their own policies.
How we protect it
The site only runs over an encrypted connection, the database and inbox are private to North Bound, and access is limited to the people doing the work. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that nothing will ever go wrong, but we'll tell you if something that affects your information does.
Children
This site is for business owners and the people who work with them. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and rights
- See, correct or delete what we have about you, or get a copy of it: write to us and we'll do it.
- Cookies: "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text.
- Ads: the ad settings at Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn; the industry opt-outs at YourAdChoices and NAI; and Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Depending on where you live (for example California, Oregon, Colorado, or the EU and UK), your local law may give you more rights over your information. We honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them. We answer every request within 30 days. To make one, write to hello@gonorthbound.ai or use the contact form.
Changes to this page
When we change this page, we change the effective date at the top. If a change affects the tools that collect information, the cookie banner asks you again.

Messaging terms
- North Bound LLC sends conversational and informational text messages: replies to your inquiry, updates on our work together, and one-time sign-in codes when you sign in. We send them only to people who agreed to get them, and never marketing texts.
- Agreeing to texts is never a condition of any purchase or of working with us.
- You can cancel at any time. Text STOP to the number the message came from. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and then no more. To start again, text START or ask us.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
