Accessibility
This site should work for everyone who needs it, whatever device or tools they use. When it doesn't, we want to hear about it.
What we aim for
We build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the common standard for websites.
What that means in practice
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and a "Skip to content" link comes first.
- Text and buttons meet the contrast minimums in both light and dark mode.
- Pages follow your device's light or dark setting, and a switch at the top lets you choose.
- Movement on the first screen stops if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every form field has a label a screen reader can read, and every image that carries meaning has a text description.
- Pages fit a phone screen without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged to 200 percent.
- The cookie banner can be answered with a keyboard, and it doesn't block the page.
How we check
We test each page with automated accessibility checks, with a keyboard, and at phone and desktop sizes in both light and dark mode, and again whenever the site changes.
Known limits
Pages we send clients as a link are newer and are still being checked against the same standard.
